Job Summary

Are you the type of person who is eager to learn dependable and detail-oriented In this role you will collaborate with engineering manufacturing and other subject matter experts to create technical documentation (parts manuals assembly procedures for digital instructions). Were looking for individuals who can problem solve are detail-oriented imaginative and that work well collaboratively.

What Youll Do

1. Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and/or vendors to develop new machine-specific illustrations for parts manuals and/or assembly procedures for digital instructions using 2D and 3D graphical programs digital photographs and drawings or diagrams from solid models.

2. Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and/or vendors to revise machine-specific illustrations for parts manuals and/or assembly procedures for digital instructions using 2D and 3D graphical programs digital photographs and drawings or diagrams from solid models.

3. Submit draft(s) and collaborate with reviewers (engineering manufacturing product safety/legal technical editor) to create a final copy for publishing or release to shop floor.

What Were Looking For

- High school diploma or GED required. Two or four-degree in a technical field such as industrial design graphic design or related field; or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience preferred.

- Ability to use MS Office required.

- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar software required.

- Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software preferred.

- Basic mechanical aptitude required.

Travel

- Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team members day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
