Additional Information:

SALARY: Anticipated starting salary range is $90000.00 - $105000.00 annually with complete fringe benefit package including competitive health insurance dental insurance basic life insurance long-term disability insurance paid sick vacation and personal leave educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents and excellent retirement benefits. Job Description:

POSITION: Full-Time Technical ERP Systems Analyst (Staff Associate):Information Technology Services; Haverhill Campus; 37.5 hours per week; Non-Unit Professional Position.

SUMMARY: The Technical ERP Systems Analyst provides advanced systems analysis database administration support technical support and complex integration management for the Ellucian Banner Student module and related ecosystems. Acting as the IT Liaison for Admissions Financial Aid Student Accounts and the Registrars Office this position ensures seamless data synchronization between Banner and critical edge applications including Ellucian Degree Works and Nelnet Campus Commerce.

A primary duty of this role is evaluating business workflows and designing solutions that align strictly with Ellucians baseline product standards and industry best practices. The analyst utilizes structured business process modeling techniques to identify manual inefficiencies guiding departments to adjust their administrative workflows to fit native ERP capabilities thereby eliminating custom code and maintaining native system stability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Business Process Analysis & Continuous Optimization

  • Conduct Functional Discoveries. Lead discovery sessions with Admissions Financial Aid Student Accounts and Registrar end-users to deconstruct document and map current as-is operational workflows.
  • Gap Analysis & Re-engineering. Perform formal gap analysis to identify administrative bottlenecks data redundancies and manual interventions across student offices.
  • Design To-Be Technical States. Author functional specifications and data flow diagrams that transition manual business processes into automated out-of-the-box Banner configurations.
  • Enforce Vanilla Architecture Standards. Evaluate incoming departmental requests while proposing a no-customization solution by mapping operational needs to baseline Ellucian configurations.
  • Remediation Planning. Systematically evaluate legacy custom modifications and define technical pathways to decommission them in favor of native Ellucian functionality.

Integration Engineering & Ancillary Application Management

  • Manage and optimize bi-directional data exchanges between Banner Student and 3rd party integrations ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maintain the technical infrastructure of Ellucian Degree Works to include maintaining direct synchronization with Banner Student academic records.
  • Support real-time payment integrations and file transfers between Banner Accounts Receivable and Nelnet Campus Commerce for student billing payment plans and cashiering.

Technical Systems Support & Baseline Configuration

  • Serve as primary technical tier-3 support for Banner Student Financial Aid and associated Self-Service applications diagnosing database exceptions job submission errors Linux Crontab job automations.
  • Collaborate with database administrators (DBAs) to manage patches test regulatory upgrades and validate system fixes ensuring zero disruption to baseline system functions.

Advanced Data Analysis Scripting & Compliance

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries PL/SQL packages functions and triggers to perform data auditing and cross-system validation.
  • Build automated scripts to monitor data integrity anomalies across systems proactively identifying sync errors before they impact students.
  • Monitor and maintain Crontab job scheduler to ensure jobs are running as expected.
