Responsibilities

The Technical Designer - Outlet Mens Knits is responsible for the development fit construction and execution of from development through fit approval. This role partners closely with Design Product Development Merchandising and overseas vendors to ensure products meet fit quality cost and calendar objectives.

Key Components of the role

• Create and maintain technical packages in Centric PLM.
• Lead fit sessions evaluate garment fit and provide clear technical comments to vendors.
• Review samples pattern corrections and construction details to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and global vendors to support on-time product development.
• Manage multiple seasons while meeting key development milestones and proactively identifying technical risks.
• Support continuous improvement of fit standards construction and technical processes.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Technical Design experience in knit apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction patternmaking grading and fit.
• Experience with Centric PLM (or similar) Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills.
