Tech Business Management Lead, AWS Marketing Technology, AI and Analytics

The Technology AI and Analytics (TAA) team within AWS Marketing is responsible for powering our vision to become the best B2B marketing organizations by using technology to improve customer and marketer experience. TAA is looking for a Tech Business Management Lead to drive and own the overall organizations finance and business management function. As a team leader you will manage the overall budget operations and rhythm of the business. We are looking for a strong Amazonian and Manager with proven experience and track record in finance and business management that is able to lead a team of builders towards optimizing resources and processes and helping achieve business goals through data-driven decision making. This function and role serves as a critical link between executive leadership product and engineering team AWS Finance to ensure overall business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage and monitor overall AWS TAA budget and related processes including program and project financials POs
* Own teams rhythm of business (ROB) mechanisms (OP1 OP2 WBR MBR Goal reviews QBR) in partnership with TAA LT Marketing S&O and AWS Finance
* Identify analyze and develop mechanisms to optimize resources and operational challenges (look around corners) to drive efficiencies and speed through automation AI integrations and data pipelines that reduce manual effort and give leadership real-time visibility
* Set goals and develop financial projections to guide business processes
* Track financial data against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Serve as liaison between executive leadership stakeholders and department heads
* Lead hire and develop a team of builders responsible for day-to-day business management like POs headcounts SOWs project financials

About the team
The Technology AI and Analytics (TAA) team within AWS Marketing is responsible for powering our vision to become the best B2B marketing organizations by by enabling better experiences for customers frictionless marketing for our teams and smarter decisions for the business using technology AI and data.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

- 4 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing implementing and scaling upskilling apprenticeship or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
