Position Summary:

The Team Lead is a frontline leader who bridges the gap between employees and management keeping daily operations running smoothly and the team moving in the right direction. This person sets the tone on the floor modeling a positive attitude strong work ethic and commitment to safety that others naturally follow. Beyond the day-to-day they play a key role in developing the people around them and making sure the team hits its goals without sacrificing quality or culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Supervisor in leading the departmental safety program including housekeeping disciplines and the investigation of all accidents and injuries.

Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations.

Ensure quality control processes are maintained and practiced including quality check sheets are followed daily.

Maintain material flow ensuring uninterrupted production.

Ensure production schedule is completed on time.

Assist the Supervisors to train and develop all employees.

Promote and maintain a team environment consistent with company values and principles.

Display a willingness and availability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.

Communicate clearly and frequently your schedule status to downstream and upstream departments.

Display a positive Can Do attitude be a change agent.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

Excellent organizational skills

Strong oral written interpersonal communications skills.

Good basic math and reading skills

Strong coaching and training skills

Self-direction and initiative.

Qualifications - Preferred

Proficient communication in English Spanish a plus

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods of time

Bending: Frequently

Lifting: Medium/Heavy (50 lbs.)

Compensation:

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as location experience and skills.
