Teaching Assistant (Temp)

Job Summary

Teaching Assistant for Microanatomy course will provide course support to program directors.

Essential Functions

• Directing discussion sections labs or review activities under Program Directors guidance.
• Reviewing core concepts with students.
• Setting up learning materials equipment and organizing the room before lessons.
• Marking assignments quizzes and exams based on the instructors rubric.
• Tracking daily attendance and calculating grades.
• Relaying student progress updates between teachers and administrative staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Masters Degree and 1year of experience.
• Knowledge of microanatomy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
