We are excited to announce SRVUSDs Teachers for Tomorrow Residency Program in partnership with Saint Marys College. We are seeking individuals with a strong desire to teach and make a difference in the lives of our students. We have 20 spots open for the 2027-28 school year - Program options: Special Education and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math)What is the Teacher Residency ProgramTeacher residents will work in one of our schools during the 2027-28 school year with support from experienced SRVUSD mentor teachers. They will gain hands-on experience in lesson planning classroom management and student partnership with Saint Marys College will combine a year-long classroom apprenticeship with an aligned sequence of coursework. Teacher residents will earn a credential upon completion of the program. Benefits of the Teachers for Tomorrow Residency Program:Stipend of $32500 for tuition and expenses High-caliber mentor teachers for each resident teacher (more information to come for SRVUSD teachers who may be interested in serving as mentors)Individualized support and mentorshipGuaranteed substitute work two days per week for the 2027-28 school yearPriority hiring upon completion of the program$500 towards reimbursement of exam fees (RICA CalTPA CSET etc.)2027-28 Residency Info Sessions will be held:November 10th 2026 (Virtual)December 8th 2026 (Virtual)
