Position SummaryTiverton Public Schools is seeking dedicated and student-centered Teacher Assistants to support students and staff at Tiverton High School. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers related service providers and administrators to support students academic behavioral social-emotional and functional needs within the general education and special education ResponsibilitiesProvide instructional support to students individually and in small groups under the direction of certified students in accessing curriculum completing assignments and developing organizational the implementation of IEP accommodations modifications behavior support plans and other individualized student participation in classroom activities school events and community-based learning opportunities as with data collection and progress students with social-emotional regulation communication and independent living skills as effectively with teachers special educators related service providers and confidentiality regarding student information in accordance with FERPA and district other duties as assigned by the Principal or designee.
