The free short application for the Dixon USD Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is now open (September 1 2026)! The application deadline is November 6 Unified School District is now recruiting a new cohort for the Dixon USDAlder GSE Teacher Residency Program. This innovative and affordable pathway offers aspiring educators a direct route to becoming a full-time teacher in our just one year residents earn both a Masters Degree and a Teaching Credential while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. The program combines rigorous coursework led by Alder GSE faculty with a mentorship-based co-teaching model in the TK12 classroom to develop highly effective educators.
