Education and Experience:Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or universityLicenses and Certification:California Teaching Credential authorizing performance of service within programs for Extensive Needs. For teachers providing special education services to children from birth through pre-kindergarten the Early Childhood Special Education Added Authorization is Aid and CPR Certification within six (6) months of employmentFor classrooms where students may require physical restraint: Complete approved MCOE Crisis Intervention Program within six (6) months of employment and maintain valid certification California drivers license and evidence of insurability
