TCS BaNCS Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / System Analyst with strong expertise in TCS BaNCS Core Banking core banking or custody systems and middleware integration. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of end-to-end payment processing including inbound and outbound payments along with experience in system integration database queries data mapping and technical documentation.

Experience in European or Italian banking environments is an added advantage.

• Analyze business requirements related to core banking custody payments and system integration.
• Work closely with business stakeholders development teams and technical teams to understand requirements and define system solutions.
• Analyze and document end-to-end payment processing workflows covering both inbound and outbound payments.
• Support integration between core banking platforms and downstream/upstream systems through middleware.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and data mapping documents.
• Create mapping specifications between different data formats including XML JSON and fixed-width files.
• Analyze message flows and integration mechanisms using MQ Kafka and file-based interfaces.
• Perform database queries to validate data investigate issues and support system analysis.
• Identify integration gaps analyze system issues perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Support integration testing system testing defect resolution and end-to-end payment validation.
• Communicate functional requirements technical specifications dependencies and project updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement workshops solution discussions and project review meetings.

• 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis / System Analysis within banking or financial services.
• Hands-on or project experience with TCS BaNCS Core Banking.
• Strong understanding of core banking and/or custody systems.
• Strong experience in middleware and systems integration.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end payment processing lifecycle including inbound and outbound payments.
• Experience working with data formats such as XML JSON and fixed-width files.
• Understanding of communication and integration protocols such as MQ Kafka and file-based transfers.
• Good database query skills including SQL.
• Proven experience preparing BRDs FSDs and data mapping documents.
• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with European banking clients particularly Italian banking environments.
• Exposure to payment integration across multiple banking systems.
• Custody banking or securities servicing experience.
• Experience supporting integration testing UAT and production issue analysis.
