POSITION: TAX MANAGER (PARTNER TRACK)
LOCATION: BERGEN COUNTY NJ
COMPENSATION: UP TO $250K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE PARTNERSHIP PERKS
Our client is a prestigious multi-location wealth management and financial services firm ranked in the top 1% of CPA firms nationwide seeking a full-time Tax Manager/Tax Partner. Candidates must have a CPA and extensive expertise in public accounting. QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- 7 years of progressive public accounting experience with a strong focus on high-net-worth individual trust and estate taxation
- Proven track record managing growing and retaining a substantial client book
- Strong technical knowledge of complex individual trust and fiduciary tax matters
- Demonstrated leadership experience including staff supervision and mentorship
- Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to take over and retain an existing high-net-worth client base
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume ownership of an existing $2 million book of business as a retiring partner transitions out
- Review and oversee complex tax returns and planning for high-net-worth individuals trusts and estates
- Serve as primary relationship owner for an established client base strengthening and expanding those relationships
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services tailored to high-net-worth clients
- Supervise mentor and develop tax staff overseeing workflow and quality control
- Collaborate with firm partners on client service strategy and practice growth
