Salary: $110K - $130K Excellent Benefits
Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing progressive young aspirational financial services company which embraces technology. Growth has been as a result of the firms commitment to build weath for its clients and a sophisticated planning process. The firm is seeking a full-time Tax Manager to oversee all client tax preparation (mostly individual tax returns) planning and advorty services. The chosen professional should be a highly collaberative communicative forward-thinking starategist who will work directly with the CEO Senior Management team and clients. As the only tax professional in this organization the chosen person will be in an individual contributor / non-management role. All tax clients of this wealth manemegment firm are also current financial planning investment management or insurance planning clients of the wealth manegement firm. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office / 2 days at home) during the non-busy season and an in-office role (5 days in-office) during busy season. Busy season (Feb. - Apr. 15) hours are 50-55 hrs./week at the most. The company offers an excellent benefit package including Fridays off during the summer extra time off at the end of the year a 401k match health insurance holidays and a fun engaging culture.
Responsibilities:
Prepare mainly 1040 tax reutrns for high-net-worth indivuduals; will also prepare a handful of 1041 and 1120-S returns.
Assemble the workpapers in a clear organized and functional manner with appropriate notations.
Conduct comprehensive client meetings to review and discuss completed tax returns in depth by explaining key findings exploring tax strategies and identifying tax planning opportunities.
Create in-depth tax projections for top clients
Client support outside of tax season regarding tax notices tax refunds or other issues.
Special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree is required; Advanced Education helpful
Minimum of 3 full years of tax season experience required
CPA required
Prior client-facing experience strongly preferred
Ability to communicate complex information clearly with excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal communications Skills
Highly organizational
