Tax Manager

Overview:

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Tax Service Line. We work hard to develop and advance quality-focused tax professionals. You will enjoy the opportunity to learn develop and grow into well-rounded trusted advisors to clients and your colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Project management and review complex business and individual tax returns.
• Review and sign simple business and individual tax returns.
• Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning consulting and compliance services.
• Ability to identify and research tax issues develop resolutions and prepare written conclusions.
• Assist with the developing training and mentoring of staff and interns.
• Recognize the opportunity to provide new and innovative services.
• Initiative to learn new tax skills the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group will offer including but not limited to: public company tax services banking and financial industry tax services international cross-border and expatriate compliance services and transaction advisory services.
• Working with ProSystems Engagement software and tax research software

The salary range for this position is between $85000 and $95000 and is commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting
• An active CPA or EA certification
• A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience

Hours of Operation:

• Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday with Flex Friday scheduling available in accordance with firm policy and business needs
• We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however there may be times when additional hours may be required
