With a staff of 950 and an annual budget of $140 million Project Renewal is one of the larger social service nonprofits in New York Title: Talent Acquisition SpecialistProgram: Human Resources Salary Range: $75000 - $80000Program Description:The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for clinical shelter housing and other critical and hard to fill roles across Project Renewal. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract engage and hire top talent while developing effective sourcing strategies and building strong candidate pipelines. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-focused recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced mission-driven environment and is passionate about connecting talented professionals to meaningful work that supports Project Renewals Duties and Responsibilities:The essential duties of the Talent Acquisition Specialist role include but are not limited to the following activities:Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical shelter housing and other specialized/hard to fill positions across the and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for high-demand roles including Registered Nurses Licensed Practical Nurses Nurse Practitioners Case Managers and Residential recruitment efforts for new program launches including shelters supportive housing programs and medical or behavioral health with hiring managers to understand workforce needs provide recruitment guidance and deliver timely updates throughout the hiring resumes conduct candidate screenings coordinate interviews and manage candidate pipelines to ensure a positive candidate accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Prepare and share weekly recruitment metrics hiring updates and workforce planning with Human Resources and hiring leaders to ensure a seamless transition from candidate selection through with the HR Generalists to coordinate internal and external recruitment in external job fairs hiring events networking events and community outreach and maintain strong relationships with community-based organizations government workforce programs trade schools colleges and universities to expand talent pipelines and strengthen recruitment :Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferably within healthcare social services nonprofit shelter housing or behavioral health success recruiting for hard-to-fill and high-volume sourcing and networking skills utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Indeed professional associations community partnerships and educational interpersonal communication organizational and stakeholder management using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mission-driven and ability to travel between multiple New York City locations as Renewal is an equal opportunity employer.
