About the Role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team and take ownership of a diverse and demanding requisition load. This is not a people-management role but requires someone who can drive their own work independently while actively collaborating with other recruiting peers. The position is high-volume fast-paced and ever-evolving best suited for someone who thrives in an environment where priorities shift quickly and results are expected.
Responsibilities
- Champions The Layton Way by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams external teams and customers.
- Ensures that Constructing with Integrity is delivered by working with honesty unity safety and quality of work.
- Manage a large portfolio of requisitions balancing urgency and quality in every search.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver strong recruiting strategies.
- Source screen and close candidates across multiple disciplines with an emphasis on construction and subcontractor-related roles.
- Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and support team goals by aligning efforts with peers.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience through timely communication and consistent follow-up.
- Leverage data and reporting to track progress share insights and drive accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred in Human Resources Business or a related field.
- 5 years of recruiting experience with proven success in high-volume environments.
- Must have proven recruiting success in high-volume fast-paced environments; experience in construction subcontractors or related industries strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow while staying aligned with the broader recruiting team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches at once in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent relationship management skills both with candidates and hiring teams.
- Strong communication interpersonal skills and adaptability are critical.
Proficiency in ATS systems LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
