JOIN OUR TEAM The Tailored Day Service Program is designed to support adults with diverse abilities in achieving greater independence skill-building and personal development. This programemphasizes person-centered goals fostering career and job readiness travel training volunteering and other individualized areas of interest.
Compensation: $25-$26/hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-time (35hrs/week) Monday Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE What we value:
Participant Support and Program Development- Support participants in creating person-centered plans and customized programs tailored to their strengths interests and challenges incorporating community-based activities and vocational training to help them achieve their goals.
Skill Development and Engagement-Assist participants in identifying and participating in volunteer community work-related activities and community college classes while providing engaging developmentally appropriate instruction as needed to foster skill development.
Networking and Employment Support-Network with employers to arrange informational interviews tours and identify job leads while providing job coaching and support throughout the job search process.
Behavioral Support and Management-Utilize appropriate modification techniques to address challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to increase participant engagement.
Case Management and Documentation- Manage participant cases by scheduling and facilitating annual meetings while completing documentation to track goals and progress.
Professional Relationships and Customer Service- Maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service to participants employers external parties families and caregivers.
Additional Duties- Perform other duties as assigned.

- 1 years previous work or volunteer experience supporting adults with disabilities
- Associate degree or working towards completion

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California Drivers License/ID
- Proof of negative TB test results
- Verification of occupational physical clearance
- Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
- 18 years of age or job permit clearance
- Required to use your own car for travel (mileage reimbursement provided)
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
Instructor responsibilities include the physical support of children:
- Physical stamina to lead learning activities: sit stand and bend frequently
- Ability to drive vehicle and transport adults with disabilities
- Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
