Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Tagalog Speaking Psychologist with a PhD to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will provide culturally sensitive and evidence-based psychological services to individuals couples and families within the Tagalog-speaking community. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality mental healthcare through a secure telehealth platform understanding the unique cultural contexts and linguistic needs of our clients.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments diagnostic evaluations and risk assessments for a diverse caseload of Tagalog-speaking clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) psychodynamic therapy and trauma-informed approaches.
- Provide individual couples and family psychotherapy sessions via a secure and confidential telehealth platform ensuring a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
- Maintain accurate timely and thorough clinical documentation including progress notes treatment plans and discharge summaries in compliance with ethical legal and organizational standards.
- Offer culturally competent care demonstrating a deep understanding of Filipino cultural nuances values and communication styles to foster trust and therapeutic alliance.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals primary care providers and community resources as appropriate to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision case consultations and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in psychology and telehealth.
- Manage a caseload efficiently including scheduling appointments managing administrative tasks and ensuring client engagement and retention.
- Adhere strictly to all professional ethical guidelines (e.g. APA Ethics Code) and state/federal regulations governing the practice of psychology and telehealth.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed developing safety plans and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
