Job Summary
Tacker Day Shift (Full-Time)
Location: Morgan City LA
Seeking an experienced Tacker to support fabrication operations. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and experienced with grinders and other hand tools. This position assists with tack welding material preparation and supporting welders and fitters while maintaining a safe work environment.
Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
Must pass a Tacker test.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience using grinders and hand tools
- Industrial fabrication shipyard or construction experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Must pass a Tacker test
- Tack welding experience
- Shipyard or fabrication shop experience
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings
- Forklift or rigging experience
- Are you fluent in both English and Spanish
- Are you able to work outdoors for the entire shift in all weather conditions
- How many years of experience do you have using grinders and other hand tools
- Do you have experience as a Tacker Welder Helper Fitter Helper or in a fabrication shipyard or construction environment
- Are you able to pass a Tacker test and do you have reliable transportation to work in Morgan City LA
