Job Summary
Tacker Day Shift (Full-Time)
Location: Morgan City LA
Summary
Seeking an experienced Tacker to support fabrication operations. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and experienced with grinders and other hand tools. This position assists with tack welding material preparation and supporting welders and fitters while maintaining a safe work environment.
Must-Haves
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience using grinders and hand tools
- Industrial fabrication shipyard or construction experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Preferred
- Tack welding experience
- Shipyard or fabrication shop experience
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings
- Forklift or rigging experience
Qualifying Questions
- Are you able to work outdoors for the entire shift
- How many years of experience do you have using grinders and hand tools
- Do you have experience as a Tacker Welder Helper or Fitter Helper
- Can you read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools
- Do you have reliable transportation to work in Morgan City LA
