Your Role & Its Purpose:

As the Systems Manager youll be the dedicated onsite resource at a new customer site in Boston MA near the Hyde Park/Readville area.This is a fully onsite position. Youll have the opportunity to support the sites initial installation and launch build a strong partnership with the customer and help establish successful day-to-day this highly visible role youll troubleshoot and assist with maintaining iA equipment monitor system performance and connect the customer with iA teams to help deliver a reliable automation solution and an exceptional customer experience.

Your typical schedule in this role will be MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.; however hours may vary based on customer needs.

How Youll Contribute:

  • Monitor system performance and collaborate with on-site staff to optimize efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system issues ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Manage and track spare parts inventory in coordination with site maintenance staff.
  • Provide after-hours remote support to customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with iAs engineering teams and subcontracted vendors to resolve system and component issues.
  • Monitor dispenser and canister activities identifying common issues and failure points and communicates findings to iAs Counting Technology team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert advising customers on system performance enhancements and risk prevention strategies.
  • Analyze system data to drive informed decisions and conducts periodic performance reviews with staff.
  • Lead regular site meetings to review equipment status and overall operational performance.
  • Request and manage parts through the proper Return Material Authorization (RMA) process as needed.
  • Partner on software installations updates and patches ensuring proper configuration and functionality at each workstation.
  • Adhere to customer protocols and SOPs for software installations updates changes and backups.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3 years of experience in the automation industry (e.g. robotics conveyance systems or other related systems).
  • Proven ability to communicate complex issues clearly build client confidence and collaborate cross-functionally with professionalism and tact.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic high voltage troubleshooting skills and proficiency with tools like a multimeter.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Minimum of 1 year of project management experience.
  • Availability to work MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.; schedule may vary based on customer needs. Participation in a rotating remote on-call schedule is also required for approximately three separate nonconsecutive weeks throughout the year to support critical customer escalations.
  • Willingness to travel for a cumulative total of up to 12 weeks during the initial onboarding and training period; travel will occur in separate intervals rather than 12 consecutive weeks.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Even Better If You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with FANUC robotics.
  • Experience programming industrial automation systems (e.g. PLCs).
  • Proficiency in creating and editing SQL queries.
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP CAPM) or Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience.

Compensation Details:

The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $100198 to $135562 though a candidates base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors including but not limited to qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Environmental Conditions:

iA implements a detailed Job Safety Assessment (JSA) to ensure field service and support roles comply with OSHA standards. Safety measures include proper ergonomics adequate lighting and safe workspaces both onsite and during field operations. Regular safety reviews and training are conducted to ensure compliance and minimize hazards.

Safety Protocols:

Safety protocols include implementing travel safety protocols using PPE such as safety goggles gloves steel-toed boots and high-visibility vests following site-specific safety protocols and conducting risk assessments. Regular training on field safety and emergency procedures is also provided.
