Systems Engineer

The Opportunity:
Are you ready to apply your expertise in software development to help shape the future of mission-critical systems Join our dynamic team in designing developing and maintaining cutting-edge mission management applications built on cloud-native microservices architectures. As a systems engineer on this program youll collaborate with multiple product teams and immerse yourself in modern development practices working within an agile framework to modernize mission management systems for our customers. Some Continental US and international travel may be required up to 10% as well as surge support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide systems engineering support across multiple phases of the systems engineering lifecycle to include technical planning CONOP development requirement analysis system design scheduling system integration verification and validation training cost and risk assessment
• Provide end-to-end systems engineering support across multiple development and test teams and environments
• Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
• Provide feedback to the developers relating to operational functionality concerns
• Provide support to system maintainers for investigation of operational issue

Qualifications:

Required:

• Typically requires bachelors degree or equivalent and 3 years experience in systems engineering
• Must have a current TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Expert-level knowledge of commonly-used systems engineering or test concepts practices and procedures
• Strong communication skills analytical/problem solving ability time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
• Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence Zephyr)
• Experience with Linux

Desired:

• Current Security Certification
• National SIGINT ops background
• Experience writing and maintaining system documentation
• Experience system and unit testing
• Experience with Linux OS
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes policies and guidance
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Experience with C is a plus
