Job Summary

Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Systems Engineer III- Integration Architect to support Kadiak and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The Integration Architect is a senior engineering position that provides enterprise systems integration interoperability architecture and systems engineering expertise to support the modernization implementation deployment and sustainment of enterprise healthcare information systems. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team the Integration Architect develops technical solutions and recommendations evaluates engineering artifacts supports architecture and integration planning identifies technical dependencies and risks and assists IHS in evaluating technical approaches throughout the system lifecycle. The position collaborates closely with infrastructure cybersecurity product management deployment testing engineering process and implementation teams to help ensure enterprise solutions are scalable interoperable secure maintainable and operationally Integration Architect serves as a senior technical advisor supporting enterprise integration initiatives engineering governance and technical decision-making while working collaboratively across Government contractor vendor and implementation partner responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Enterprise Integration & Architecture:Develop enterprise integration strategies reference architectures and technical roadmaps supporting Health IT modernization and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts including logical architectures interface inventories system dependency models and integration enterprise integration patterns architectural standards and engineering approaches that promote consistency across modernization current-state and future-state architectures supporting enterprise proposed technical solutions for interoperability scalability maintainability operational readiness and alignment with enterprise architecture emerging technologies and recommend architectural approaches that improve enterprise healthcare Engineering & Integration:Plan and coordinate enterprise systems integration activities across multiple modernization technical dependencies among applications infrastructure cybersecurity services identity management interfaces cloud services and external engineering artifacts technical requirements solution designs interface specifications and vendor documentation to assess technical adequacy interoperability implementation readiness and technical integration risks architectural constraints and recommend mitigation resolution of complex cross-system integration and maintain enterprise interface standards integration guidance and technical documentation supporting standards-based healthcare interoperability initiatives utilizing technologies such as HL7 FHIR REST APIs Direct Secure Messaging Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Identity and Access Management in engineering lifecycle reviews including Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) Critical Design Reviews (CDR) Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) Configuration Reviews and Release Readiness engineering verification validation deployment readiness operational assessments and continuous engineering improvement Governance:Support enterprise architecture governance engineering review boards technical working groups and configuration management engineering standards Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) templates technical guidance and engineering best proposed engineering changes and technical impacts across integrated engineering analyses and technical recommendations to engineering and program to continuous improvement of engineering processes governance and enterprise architecture Tools:Experience using engineering architecture and integration tools including:Cameo Enterprise Architect (CEA)Microsoft VisioMicrosoft SharePointMicrosoft toolsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Health Informatics or a related technical discipline and 1012 years of progressively responsible experienceORMasters degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Health Informatics or a related technical discipline and 810 years of relevant Skills and Competencies:Experience serving as an Enterprise Integration Architect Systems Engineer Solution Architect or similar technical leadership role supporting large-scale healthcare or federal technology modernization knowledge of systems engineering principles enterprise architecture methodologies and integration best developing enterprise architecture models and technical artifacts using enterprise architecture modeling designing enterprise systems integration and interoperability developing and reviewing architecture documentation Interface Control Documents (ICDs) technical specifications and engineering knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 FHIR REST APIs and Health Information Exchange (HIE).Experience supporting Oracle Health Cerner or comparable enterprise healthcare supporting cloud-based architectures identity management and enterprise integration analytical problem-solving and systems-thinking skills with the ability to identify technical dependencies risks and integration written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical to facilitate technical discussions and build consensus across multidisciplinary engineering Requirement:Ability to obtain a Public TrustDesired Skills and Competencies:Experience supporting federal healthcare modernization with Cameo Enterprise Architect (CEA).Experience supporting Oracle Health or Cerner EHR supporting Microsoft Azure cloud with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF DoDAF or
