Raytheons Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department in Woburn MA. The department provides subject matter expertise in concept development architectural design requirements generation and flowdown modeling and simulation systems analysis integration test and evaluation of worldclass Missile Defense and Sensor Systems. This work is achieved through our people processes technology and performance. What You Will Do

• Lead the development of architectures and requirements to define characterize develop and document GroundBased Radar (GBR) systems including architectural framework updates systemofsystems functional and performance requirements algorithm descriptions test scenario definitions and verification approaches.
• Perform requirements analysis and benchmarking to validate algorithm designs and ensure systemlevel performance meets operational objectives.
• Collaborate closely with software and integration/test engineering teams to deliver innovative highperforming radar solutions.
• Work onsite in Woburn MA.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with Radar Systems and/or other related areas of systems engineering.
• Experience with radar signal processing signal processing theory and/or signal modeling.
• Experience with MATLAB Python and/or LINUX OS platforms.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with radar system concepts including detection discrimination tracking and signalprocessing algorithms; ability to analyze radar requirements and performance through models algorithms test vectors and evaluation tools.
• Proven systemlevel engineering experience including requirements development documentation maintenance and systemlevel software architecture design.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain engineering processes methods and tools; strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a history of delivering innovative technical solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as C/C Java DOORS and familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills including technical writing presentations customer interfacing and crossdiscipline teamwork in distributed environments.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with experience leading technical solution development
• Advanced Degree in STEM

The salary range for this role is 75800 USD - 144200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
