As a Systems Engineer on RSP youll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:
Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation verification and performance testing
Requirements Engineering: documenting analyzing and managing system requirements
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling simulations and design analysis
Hardware-Systems Engineering: design integration and troubleshooting of hardware systems
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related STEM. Agile experience preferred.
2 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering including Test & Integration Requirements Analysis Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Masters degree may substitue for experience).
Strong problem-solving analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Experience in Systems Engineering including Test & Integration Requirements MBSE or Hardware-Systems.
Knowledge of systems design MBSE modeling and simulation.
Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS Cameo or similar).
Experience with defense aerospace or mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration Requirements MBSE or Hardware-Systems depending on focus area.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance reliability and compliance.
Document review and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.
Participate in design reviews verification and validation activities.

Target salary range: USD $85807.00/Yr. - USD $95193.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field plus 1 year of relevant work experience; or Masters degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
