Endurance IT Services is seeking a Systems Administrator or Junior Systems Engineer to support a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role is hands-on and customer-facing focused on supporting small-to-mid-sized business (SMB) clients maintaining Microsoft 365 environments and contributing to infrastructure and server-related projects.
Overview
Provide onsite and remote technical support for SMB clients (1050 users)
Assist with Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration including migrations and implementations
Support data center hosting environments and client infrastructure
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
Troubleshoot technical issues and guide end users toward effective solutions
Participate in onboarding new client environments and service setups
Contribute to server and infrastructure-related project work
Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of client systems and environments
Coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple client environments
This role operates in a client-facing MSP environment and requires flexibility to work onsite in Mechanicsville VA four days per week with occasional work-from-home options as needed.
Minimum Requirements
3 years of experience in Systems Administration Infrastructure Help Desk or Desktop Support roles
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Windows environments
Experience supporting multiple clients or working in an MSP environment is preferred
Basic understanding of networking concepts; willingness to learn (training available)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor
Excellent customer service skills with patience and attention to user needs
Strong time management organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment
