Peraton is seeking an entry level Systems Administrator to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering application development deployment operations upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our clients global missions.
** This position performs Shift work to cover the 24X7 Operations. **
Responsibilities:
Provide end-user technical support to all clients.
Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
Install troubleshoot service and repair personal computers network equipment such as servers modems multiplexers related PC software telephones cables and connectors as assigned.
Perform basic system administrator functions such as network user creation and password resets.
Escalate issues quickly and efficiently in accordance with Technical Impact Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maintain network diagrams and circuit records maintain trouble logs and instruct users in the use of computers.
Investigate information network and communications needs of users and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
Perform basic PC PBX and network software programming.
Maintain equipment systems and conduct testing and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot to proactively resolve issues and their root causes and respond to technical requests for support.
Assess ongoing user experience and take action to resolve issues or to make enhancements.
Support the development implementation and maintenance processes procedures test cases test results issue resolutions performance analysis and user guidelines/ instructions documentation.
Demonstrate and maintain strong customer service skills.
**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance.
No minimum years of experience with a Bachelors degree or higher degree or Minimum of 4 years relevant experience with no degree.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers other co-workers and management.
Detail oriented.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS.
Ability to learn new processes systems and technologies as assigned.
Current CISSP or Security Certification.
Desired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT I or DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification.
Network Experience: Cisco Packet Tracer or similar.
Security Clearance:
This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly US Citizenship is to hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range
$51000 - $82000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
