Role:
The Systems Support Technician performs hands-on deployment configuration and day-to-day administration of the Credit Unions Microsoft technology platforms including Microsoft 365 Microsoft Entra ID endpoint management Active Directory Group Policy and Windows workstation systems. This position executes technical and security-related system changes as assigned coordinates and directs change and deployment work performed by the Credit Unions managed service provider and performs quality assurance on completed work to confirm that changes were implemented accurately and completely. The role also serves as the internal escalation resource for complex desktop application access and device issues that cannot be resolved by the Help Desk Technician.
This position is an execution role. Security control requirements are defined by Information Security and technology priorities are set by management. Both are assigned sequenced and supervised through the IT Operations and Service Delivery Manager to whom this position reports and escalates.

This is a onsite position based at our headquarters located at 750 E Mulberry Ave.
What you will be doing:
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint OneDrive and user licensing.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and/or Active Directory environments.
- Working knowledge of endpoint management software deployment patch management and device compliance monitoring.
- Experience creating deploying and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and endpoint configuration policies.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems workstation configuration and endpoint security best practices.
- Experience providing Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting complex hardware software and access-related issues.
- Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and follow established change management procedures.
- Strong organizational communication customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality in a regulated environment.
What youll bring along:
- Two to four years of experience in desktop support systems support Microsoft 365 administration endpoint administration or a similar technical role is required.
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365 Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID Windows endpoints and endpoint management tools required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology Computer Information Systems Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred. Equivalent technical training certifications or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience working with Group Policy software deployment patch management device compliance and technical documentation preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment or in an environment supported by a managed service provider preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) CompTIA Network or CompTIA Security are a plus.
