Estimated Start Date: 1 Nov



Objective: Support the Clients system through ensuring secure efficient and scalable operations across NIPR and SIPR environments maintaining high availability compliance and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operating system patching infrastructure upgrades and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
  • Maintain and update system architecture documentation including hardware lists topology diagrams and database design documents.
  • Implement and maintain robust security baselines (NIST CNSS DISA STIG USTRANSCOM) across all environments.
  • Ensure compliance and requirements for data protection and privacy.
  • Configure and maintain security logging structured auditing distributed tracing and runtime telemetry.
  • Leverage management tools (Jira Confluence) for structured engineering change control backlog refinement and workflow alignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD systems including secure operations.
  • Proficiency cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with monitoring logging and incident response tools and practices.
  • Excellent documentation communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite/ client site delivery

Mid Foundational with one of the following:

Cloud

GICSP

GSEC

Security

SSCP



Education : Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Engineering Management Management Information Systems Mathematics or related STEM degree program.

Minimum experience : 1-4 years.
