System Administrator Level 3
Job Summary
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Rome NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on application and systems administration. This role requires a deep technical understanding of server environments network technologies and security protocols.
Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Manage and maintain server environments ensuring optimal performance and security.
Install configure and secure servers in accordance with organizational standards.
Perform routine maintenance upgrades and troubleshooting of systems.
Application Administration:
Administer and support various applications within the organization.
Ensure applications are running efficiently and address any issues promptly.
Network Technologies:
Work with network technologies and protocols to ensure seamless communication between systems.
Collaborate with network teams to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
Virtual Environments:
Manage and support virtual environments including VMs and containerization technologies.
Ensure virtual systems are configured correctly and securely.
Security Compliance:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations procedures and changes.
Generate reports on system performance and security status as required.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Clearance
BS/BA in IT-related field desired.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on application administration.
Minimum 7 years of experience with systems administration.
Minimum 7 years of technical experience/knowledge of installation configuration and security of server environments.
Certifications: Security (CE)
Proficient working knowledge of network technologies and protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates relevant prior work experience specific skills and competencies education and certifications.
