Primary Work Location: Facilities & Maintenance setting. (Schools and Warehouse)

Certification: Valid Drivers license

Job Summary: The job of Courier/ Systems Control (Driver) is done for the purpose/s of assisting the Operations Department to ensure that materials and supplies are distributed in an efficient manner preventative maintenance schedules are kept current and control systems monitoring is done routinely. The position is responsible for assisting in tasks ensuring systems work efficiently; assisting with planning evaluating and developing department procedures. The position will provide input to facilitate the implementation of services to provide a safe and comfortable learning atmosphere.

Essential Job Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential duties:

Analyze the needs of the BAS System for the purpose of making recommendations for repairs purchasing materials supplies and equipment.

Will attend training in monitoring analytics and basic logic for the BAS system.

Run daily interoffice mail run throughout the district.

Assist with delivery of deposits and financial documents.

Assess equipment and supply work orders as assigned for the purpose of distributing where needed.

Receiving agent for warehouse deliveries.

Clean organize and inventory warehouse equipment and materials.

Attending district and department meetings when needed for the purpose of identifying issues giving recommendations identifying issues and communicating to the Operations Leadership team.

Assist in conducting routine and periodic inspections of all District buildings for the purpose of ensuring assigned tasks and projects are completed and reports back to the Director of Operations.

Participates in continuing education and in-service training of staff (e.g. safety awareness and personnel development etc.) for the purpose of keeping current staff updated with any new pertinent information.

Assist in the inspection process on a regular basis for the purpose of determining that high standards of workmanship cleanliness and security are maintained.

Assist with snow removal operations equipment operations and ensure that the department functions in a safe and efficient manner.

Participate in and assist with delivery of information at staff meetings (monthly or as needed) and conduct special training related to best practices
