This role ensures parts are produced in accordance with engineering specifications quality standards regulatory requirements and production schedules while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe work offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $23 $37 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by Model:Monday Friday 2nd shift (2:00pm -10:00pm)What youll do:Follow all manufacturing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as defined by Viant Medicals practices policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style lathes to manufacture complex high-precision medical device and interpret engineering drawings blueprints work instructions and and install tooling fixtures and machine accessories required for machine offsets and make program edits to maintain dimensional accuracy and optimize first-piece in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers calipers optical comparators and vision machining issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and machine performance and production output to achieve quality efficiency and delivery compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ISO 13485 requirements and company quality production documentation accurately and with Engineering Quality Maintenance and Production teams to support new product introductions and process routine preventative maintenance and maintain equipment in clean and safe operating in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality productivity and cost other duties as neededRequirementsKnowledge/Education:High school diploma or equivalent degree apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or manufacturing technology 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes in a precision manufacturing device aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience knowledge of CNC Swiss machining principles and with Star Citizen Tsugami Tornos or similar Swiss machines to read and interpret blueprints GD&T and technical knowledge of G-code programming and machine using precision measurement instruments and inspection troubleshooting and problem-solving to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing attention to detail and commitment to Requirements:Perform light non-strenuous administrative activities on a regular to stand and walk for extended to lift up to 20 pounds dexterity required for machine setup tooling changes and inspection to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise machine oils and moving provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion gender sexual orientation national origin age disability marital status amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal state and local laws.
