Employment Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.13 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Swim lessons take place on weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.

Do you enjoy working with kids and want a job where you can make a real difference Golds Aquatics Camas is looking for dependable energetic Swim Instructors to join our team.

Our instructors teach swimmers of all ages and abilities from young children who are just getting comfortable in the water to more advanced swimmers working on stroke technique. You dont need any teaching experience to apply. We provide training and support to help you become a confident effective instructor.

What youll do:

Teach safe engaging swim lessons using the Golds Aquatics curriculum
Help swimmers build skills confidence and independence in the water
Give clear instruction encouragement and feedback
Maintain active supervision and follow all pool safety standards
Communicate with parents about their swimmers progress
Help keep the lesson area organized and ready for classes
Work as part of a supportive aquatics team

Were looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with children
Is dependable and arrives ready to teach
Communicates well with swimmers parents and coworkers
Is comfortable in the water and has basic swimming skills
Is willing to learn and receive feedback
Schedule Requirements; Must have weekend availability.

Previous swim instruction experience is helpful but not required. Lifeguard CPR First Aid or other aquatics certifications are a plus.
