Sustainability Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from accredited degree program and minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education training and/or experience
• LEED Professional Accreditation administered by Green Building Certification Institute desired or in pursuit of or other
  relevant accreditations
• Experience in construction industry preferred
• Broad knowledge of Sustainability practices and processes
• Read and interpret contract documents
• Approachable and effectively interact with all employee levels management subcontractors and clients
• Active listening skills responsive and strong follow-up practices
• Professional verbal and written business communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and timely documentation
• Possess solid problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Familiar with basic lean concepts and continuous improvement methods and tools
• Work independently with oversight and direction and collaboratively with teams
• Prioritize responsibilities for self
• Embrace change and quick learner to adopt process and technology enhancements
• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office suite of applications Internet navigation and database applications
• Limited travel

The employee occasionally travels both short and long distances via a variety of conveyances and occasionally performs work on-site at construction work sites office locations and/or off-site venues. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
