Primary Responsibilities:
- Support sustainability reporting efforts through data collection validation and documentation.
- Analyze large complex energy datasets including utility benchmarking and third-party data sources.
- Perform detailed quality control normalization and reconciliation of energy consumption and cost data.
- Support energy benchmarking disclosure and regulatory reporting by preparing data inputs analyses and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance workflows and data requests.
- Travel nationwide to plan and conduct onsite indoor air quality (IAQ) testing for green building certification programs coordinating with property teams to ensure site readiness and protocol compliance.
- Analyze IAQ results and deliver clear comprehensive reports; manage data entry and documentation in certification platforms and online portals to support compliance and project certification. Assist project managers with data collection documentation and tracking for LEED Fitwel and other certification pathways.
- Help monitor project progress to ensure timelines requirements and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with internal sustainability teams property managers and building engineers to support certification readiness and ongoing performance.
- Contribute to internal process improvements documentation standards and team knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed on evolving sustainability requirements trends IAQ standards and certification program updates.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple time-dependent tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal presentation and analytical skills
- Experience supporting real estate portfolios a strong plus
- Proficient in MS Office Suite specifically Excel
- Sustainability data tools preferred
- Proficiency in ENERGY STAR a strong plus
- Possess technical skills in measurement tracking and validation of sustainability metrics (e.g. Scope 1-3 emissions; energy water waste) and progress against targets
- Familiarity with energy management concepts energy data benchmarking or compliance frameworks
- Operates with an investigates mindset to identify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Troubleshoots and pinpoints roots causes for discrepancies working cross-functionally to improve data accuracy and consistency

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
