Location: Decorah Iowa
Pay Rate: $44/hr $48/hr
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday primarily 7:00 AM 3:30 PM; hours may vary based on surgical case load
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year Surgical Technologist experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a surgical services opportunity in Decorah Iowa. This role is ideal for a skilled Surgical Tech who can support a variety of procedures maintain sterile technique and assist the surgical team in delivering safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities

Assist the surgical team during procedures across multiple specialties

Support General Surgery Orthopedics ENT OBGYN Podiatry Urology and Dental cases

Prepare the operating room instruments supplies and equipment

Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures

Anticipate surgeon and team needs during cases

Assist with room turnover and surgical workflow

Participate in on-call rotation including nights weekends and holiday call
Requirements

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required

Surgical Technologist certification preferred

American Heart Association BLS required

State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training required

Minimum 1 year Surgical Technologist experience required

Must stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on call

Must be flexible with schedule changes based on surgery case load
