Job Summary
Surgical Technologist Contract
Location: Atlantic IA
Pay Rate: $45/hr to $50/hr
Contract: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:45 AM 3:15 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Call: Rotating call with 30-minute response time
Experience: Less than 1 year accepted
EMR: EPIC
About the Role
We are hiring a Surgical Technologist for a contract opportunity in Atlantic IA. This role supports safe and efficient surgical care by assisting the RN surgeon and surgical team before during and after procedures.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures

Handle surgical instruments supplies and equipment

Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures

Assist with limited direct patient care under RN supervision

Clean prepare and package instruments for sterilization

Support room turnover between cases

Follow AORN practices safety standards and department policies

Participate as a reliable and collaborative surgical team member
Requirements

Active state license required
-
BLS/BCLS required
-
Surgical Technologist experience preferred

EPIC experience preferred

Must be able to take rotating call with 30-minute response time
