Job Summary
Day/Evening 12-hr shifts Monday - Friday 0640-1910 with a possibility of 1040-2310. Weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Possible holiday call responsibilities. First one - two weeks will have different shifts per orientation schedule.
Surgical Technologist - Tier 7 EyeEntPlastic
Eyes: vitrectomy and open globe repair
Plastics: abdominoplasty DIEP flap surgery (deep inferior epigastric perforator flap) breast reconstruction free flap laparoscopic
ENT: arch bars facial repairs mandibular zygomatic sinus surgery radical neck dissection tracheostomy
septoplasty Acoustics (crani experience) Direct laryngoscopy
Ears: Cochlear implants
Equipment: Constellation Straight Shot liposuction neoprobe NIM Piezo Klein Pump and Stryker Navigation
Microscopes: Pentero Mitaka and Leica
Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
BLS - AHA required
Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
