Surgical Services OB Tech

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients providers and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in surgical and obstetric settings.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Manage case and provide hospice care when applicable.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical and obstetric procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital home health or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work.

• Experience in Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU or Operating Room specialties.
• Advanced certifications related to surgical or obstetric nursing.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care.

• Ability to work in fast-paced and high-acuity environments such as ICU ER or operating rooms.
• May require on-call availability and flexible scheduling to cover shifts in surgical and obstetric units.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is critical for patient care coordination.

• Work schedule may include day evening night weekend and holiday shifts.
• Shift assignments based on clinical unit needs and staffing requirements.
• Potential for rotating shifts or consistent shift patterns depending on unit.
