Surgical & Clinical Access Manager

Pay Range: $65000$70000

Manhattan Gastroenterology / Midtown Endoscopy & Surgical Center is seeking an experienced data-driven Surgical & Clinical Access Manager to oversee and optimize clinical and surgical scheduling across the practice and ambulatory surgical center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical and surgical scheduling provider templates and surgical blocks.

• Maximize provider appointment procedure and operating room utilization.

• Monitor cancellations no-shows backfill opportunities waitlists and schedule capacity.

• Identify scheduling gaps access barriers and opportunities to improve patient conversion.

• Develop and monitor scheduling KPIs reports and performance dashboards.

• Lead and support scheduling staff including training workflow management and accountability.

• Partner with physicians clinical teams front desk AfterCare billing and administration to improve patient access and operational efficiency.

• Identify workflow issues and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce unused capacity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Operations or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

• 35 years of healthcare scheduling patient access surgical scheduling or clinical operations experience.

• Leadership or management experience preferred.

• Strong analytical organizational communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with EHR and scheduling systems required; eClinicalWorks experience preferred.
