Assistant Professor of Surgery (Vascular Surgery)

The Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery Division ofVascularSurgery and EndovascularTherapy is seeking a board-eligible or board-certifiedvascularsurgeon for a full-time faculty position atthe Assistant Professor level.

We are seeking avascularsurgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence academic inquiry and the education of future surgeons. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized and collegialteam providing comprehensivevascularand endovascularcare at St. Raphaels Campus (SRC) and YNHH.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing the full spectrum of open and endovascularvascularsurgery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participating in and contributing to the education of medical students residents andvascularfellows
• Engaging in clinical research quality improvement and academic activities aligned with the mission of the Department of Surgery
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams toadvance innovation and excellence in patient care

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board eligible or certified inVascularSurgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching clinical scholarship and academicadvancement
