POSITION OVERVIEW

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day-shift Surgery position in Beckley West Virginia.

The main Operating Room features seven fully equipped procedure rooms each staffed with one circulator and two surgical technologists. The OR handles inpatient and outpatient cases across orthopedic and orthopedic trauma sports medicine general surgery gynecology vascular podiatry spine DaVinci robotic trauma and urology specialties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
Complete timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
Develop implement and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license. REQUIRED
Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. REQUIRED
One year of Surgery experience. REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. REQUIRED
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire. REQUIRED
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire. REQUIRED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) certification.
