Surgery RN Lead

As our Surgery RN Lead you will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population often from specialized service lines like cardiac orthopedic or critical care continuously building your education and experience.

Every day you will perform patient assessments administer medications manage complex care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Plans and provides direct patient care as well as supervision of personnel practicing in surgical service areas. Makes patient care assignments and facilitates patient throughout and directly observes staff performances.
• Proactively matches existing resources seeking ways to provide patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment collaborative team environment.
• Assures that staffing and resources are aligned with patient care needs.
• Communicates personnel related concerns to Nurse Manager.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements appropriate change using logical problem solving skills.
• Maintains Unit Professional standards.

• Associate Of Nursing Accredited school of nursing and 2 years of perioperative nursing experience. upon hire
• Registered Nurse: KY upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 - months
