• Analyze and interpret business reports including credit checks bank agreements and financial statements to support underwriting processes.
• Oversee risk selection pricing retention growth and profitability for the assigned branch office.
• Assess risk quality in compliance with company guidelines and standards.
• Review underwriting decisions and provide recommendations for extending surety credit including terms and conditions.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ensure timely and informed decision-making while maintaining integrity and honesty.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve established objectives.
• Utilize independent judgment and initiative to support business goals.

• Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Finance Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commercial surety underwriting.
• Progression toward certifications such as Associate in Surety and Fidelity Bonding (AFSB) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proven ability to operate with integrity accountability and professionalism.
