This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in behavioral health mental health or substance use services while making a lasting impact in the lives of individuals in our community.
As a Mental Health Technician you will provide compassionate person-centered support to individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges. Working in participants homes and throughout the community you will help them develop the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible.
- Provide one-on-one support in participants homes and community settings.
- Assist individuals with daily living skills personal goals and community integration.
- Support medication monitoring and encourage healthy routines.
- Promote recovery independence and overall well-being.
- Assist with transportation to appointments errands and community activities as needed.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Build positive respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Part-Time 2nd Shift
- 2:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m.
- 2040 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling available.
- Starting pay: $17.00 - 20.00per hour based on qualifications and experience.
- This program operates 365 days per year including weekends and holidays.
- $600 hiring bonus
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working in human services mental health healthcare or customer service is preferred but not requiredwe will train the right candidate.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
This position requires the ability to:
- Alternate between sitting standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Navigate homes and community environments including climbing stairs.
- Bend stoop kneel and reach as needed.
- Lift and carry up to 10 pounds regularly.
- Occasionally assist individuals with mobility and other physical support tasks consistent with training.
