POSITION SUMMARY
The Supported Services Supervisor ensures Supported Services programs operate in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) county and other applicable contracts Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and other regulatory requirements. This position oversees staff training certification and onboarding processes and maintains accurate documentation and records to support program compliance. The Supervisor provides direct supervision direction and training to Direct Support Professional staff and oversees daily scheduling compliance and service delivery across assigned service lines. iThe Supervisor provides leadership supports scheduling needs and serves as a positive role model by promoting safe work practices professional standards and Gartens mission of creating inclusive person-centered opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and provide guidance to Direct Support Professional staff regarding policies procedures person-centered practices and performance expectations.
- Represent Garten in meetings committees and community partnerships.
- Contribute input for long-range operational and strategic planning.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage including adjustments for participant needs transportation and community activities.
- Provide backup coverage for direct service staff as needed including Day Break participant support and coaching.
- Oversee onboarding for new employees ensuring required training and Core Competencies are completed within established timeframes.
- Provide coaching mentorship and retraining as needed to ensure consistent quality of services.
- Act as a professional role model promoting safe work practices and positive behavior supports.
- Ensure all participant records case files service documentation and incident reporting are current and compliant with OARs contracts licensing requirements and program standards.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping and reporting to support program operations.
- Monitor program compliance through regular audits reporting and corrective action planning as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities including file management and/or positive behavior supports.
- Bachelors degree in rehabilitation social work communications or a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
- At least 2 years of experience providing training to a diverse workforce.
- Valid drivers license acceptable driving record and proof of insurance.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position may involve exposure to dust poor lighting and ventilation noise odors and temperature fluctuations.
- Additional working conditions may include shift work.
- Work may include frequent interruptions and periods of working independently.
- This position involves regular computer use. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support board meetings or events.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to perform job-related physical tasks such as standing walking bending reaching and repetitive motions as required.
