Position Summary:

Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

• Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
• Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Receives shipments logs receipts enters data into the inventory system delivers items to departments or other facilities and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
• Answers the telephone receiving dock and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
• Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Processes outgoing mail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: High School diploma preferred. Skills: Critical thinking decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
