Pay Rate/Range: $19-22/hr

Description:Seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for a growing manufacturing company. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring materials products and outside services are available to support production while building strong supplier relationships and helping keep operations running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing experience who enjoys problem-solving negotiating with vendors and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials supplies parts and outside services to support production

• Create maintain and monitor purchase orders from start to finish

• Expedite or adjust orders based on production needs and forecast changes

• Update pricing delivery dates and purchase order information

• Work with vendors to resolve pricing quality delivery and other purchasing issues

• Track open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services

• Negotiate pricing quantities delivery schedules and supplier terms

• Research and develop new supplier relationships while evaluating vendor performance

• Partner with internal departments to ensure production and inventory needs are met

• Perform additional purchasing and supply chain duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of purchasing buying or procurement experience preferred

• Manufacturing or supply chain experience is a plus

• Strong Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office skills

• ERP/MRP system experience (Global Shop preferred)

• Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
