Supply Chain Manager – Import & Inventory

Job Overview/Summary

The Supply Chain Manager provides end-to-end strategic and operational leadership forthe organizations supply chain functions including demand planning procurementcoordination order management and inventory control. This role is responsible for drivingorganizational alignment across sales warehouse and accounting teams to ensureoptimal product availability minimize financial risk and maximize inventory Supply Chain Manager directly builds and oversees a high-performing supply chainteam while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of enterprise data systems.

Primary Duties

Strategic Forecasting and Demand Alignment: Translatesmacro-level customer production forecasts into precisematerial- and part-level execution plans to guide suppliermanufacturing schedules and lead times.

Working Capital and Inventory Optimization: Architectsinventory strategies that balance optimal safety stock levelsagainst warehouse capacity limits to eliminate stockoutswhile minimizing excess or obsolete inventory carrying costs.

People Risk and Exception Management: Establishes andenforces robust protocols for claims handling vendorcompliance quality documentation and financialreconciliation; manages SCM team performance throughcoaching workload prioritization and escalation support;and safeguards company assets against operational losses.

Supply Chain Continuity and Fulfillment: Owns the end-to-end order execution lifecycle from purchase order creation tofinal delivery ensuring customer demand is met reliably andon schedule.

System Integration and Data Governance: Governs dataintegrity and transactional synchronization between theEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and WarehouseManagement System (WMS) platforms to prevent operationalbottlenecks.

Experience

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or aclosely related field.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in end-to-end supplychain operations including at least 3 to 5 years in a formal people-management or team-leadership role.

Knowledge Skills &Abilities

Planning Expertise: Mastery of statistical forecasting inventory modeling and materialrequirements planning.

SystemProficiency: Deep technical knowledge of major enterprise systems and warehouse dataauditing.
