Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead supplier management production coordination logistics and process improvement initiatives. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and delivering high-quality systems to our customers. Youll work cross-functionally with engineering manufacturing and service teams to keep projects on track and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships including pricing lead times and quality control
- Coordinate production schedules with engineering and manufacturing teams
- Oversee shipping receiving and inventory management
- Identify and implement workflow improvements and automation opportunities
- Serve as a liaison between sales engineering and service departments
- Support post-sale logistics and service coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards
Skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Effective communication across teams and vendors
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory/scheduling tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with industrial equipment (preferred)
Knowledge
- Supply chain and operations principles
- Production coordination and logistics
- Inventory management systems and documentation practices
- Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows
- Continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to Implement
- Execute supplier negotiations and maintain quality standards
- Coordinate cross-functional schedules and logistics
- Monitor and optimize inventory and shipping processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and production needs
