Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Prop A-TG (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood or Berkley Missouri.

This positing supports multiple open positions on Prop A-TG.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments
  • Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Develops and executes work movement plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelors Masters or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree or greater in a mathematic scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience creating interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
  • More than 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years related work experience Master7 years related work experience 13 years related work experience etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
